To All: The drought of 2007 made this the first field day in many years that we didn't get soaked. Our FD location this year was at the home of Dave and Janis Meadows. Which a big thanks goes out to hosting this crew of contesters. The evening cook out was great, as was breakfast. Although we had two batteries we had to resort to cranking up the generator to maintain power enough for the radio. In the beginning there where a lot of pile ups, but we started getting some solid contacts once the bands settled down, I don't think we set any records this time out, but we all had a great time! 73's David KF4AWU
